LEADERSHIP AND LIVELIHOODS IN WOMEN

Cartagena

This project, which develops an important gender component, will be carried out in the city of Cartagena, one of the most beautiful in Colombia but which not only arouses admiration for its historical and tourist attractions but also because of the disproportionate contrast shown by the great socioeconomic problems of its inhabitants, especially degraded women who are mostly Afro-descendants, mothers head of household, victims of armed conflict and unfinished basic education.

Through Hands for Change, 5 organizations join forces to strengthen the capacities of these women to generated greater income in their productive units and training employment. By developing their soft skills and empowering them.
